Photo Review: The Girl with the Yellow Umbrella

It’s been a long wait but here’s the next entry in my Photo Review series.

I took this photo while ago in Hoi An and like the result, the GR II did a great job capturing the scene just as I saw it and intended to capture it.
There’s a lot of yellow in this photo and as you would have guessed from my photo book ‘People with Umbrellas‘, I like taking photos of people with…well, umbrellas.

Hoi An is one of the main tourist destinations here and the lanterns and old town are the main reason people visit it. It’s a nice little town but I usually tend to avoid it since it’s become way too touristy.
Still, it does make for some nice photos at night and in this case the rain gave it that little extra. Unfortunately, the GR II is not weatherproof so I couldn’t get quite the perfect composition but I do like the result nonetheless.

My Books Giveaway

It’s been again quite a while since my last update here. It’s too easy to loose focus when I’m not doing this every day as I have before.

So as a way to make up for it and since most are stuck at home at the moment, I will make both my books available for everyone.
You can use the links below to download the books for free or if you want use the Blurb link to get a printed copy or the Donate link if you want to give something for the books.

Enjoy the books and keep safe everyone!
